Not much news.

Karl's Blog. Stardate Blah Blah Blah,

Currently watching England versus Portugal in the second round of the Euro Cup. I'm not going to mention any details in case someone hasn't seen it yet and wishes to watch a latter rebroadcast.

Anyway, it appears I might actually be able to go to my family reunion (mother's side) this year. I wanted to go, but, I doubted that my circumstances would allow me to do so. However, my family (again my mother's side) going well out of their way in order for me to attend. So I guess I'm San Francisco bound. One week stay.

My last reunion was coincidentally the summer after my highschool graduation. Which was god knows how long ago. So, I haven't seen these people in many years. We're gonna be a bit older. I'm afraid that will also mean alot more drinking since we (my age group) are now of legal age in the United States. God knows what they think of me now. They thought I was an alcoholic then. Must have been due to me finishing off a 40oz. and their numerous shots, yet, appearing seemingly unfazed. So it will be interesting to say the least.

My departure will be early in the morning of Thursday, July 8th. Which means I'll still be able to attend Becky's going away party (she's heading to Middle Earth for a year). More importantly, I'll still be able to pick Jen up from the airport when she makes her triumphant return to Vancouver. Which means I'll have to phone/email Sarah, Vanessa, Dave, and anyone else that stated interest in welcoming Jen back at the airport. Is anyone up to the task of coordinating this endeavour (coughVanessacough)? I'm still shaken about running an ill-fated History-French Club BZZR Garden.

I'll probably see everyone on Friday for Becky's going away shindig. Which reminds me, Carlos is in town and I'm determined to have Carlos and Vanessa meet face to face. They remind me so much of each other it creeps me out. Maybe the world will end. Most likely, they will both stare at me and reconsider why I'm friends with them.

I'm going back to being a shut-in.

Later Days.

End Transmission.
