I'm A Camper At Campe LWordowatta?
Karl's Blog. Stardate Blah Blah Blah,
I was rather surprised this morning at work. I was waiting in line for my breakfast when a member of the art department informed me that she thought I was rather funny in the L Word blog. Dumbfounded, I replied that I was not aware I was in the show's blog. I was aware of the television series having an interactive site with their fans. It is actually quite a brilliant way for the fans and the creators to be involved with one another, and it is this fandom which has kept the show popular for so long . . .
Okay I'm digressing as per usual. Anyway, the writer's assistant is involved with the blog and took some video of behind the scenes stuff. She compiled the footage into a summer camp theme. And I happen to be in it.
Enjoy.
Now that you have seen it, I was not aware I was being filmed. But since you all know me anyway, my weird behaviour probably seems normal behaviour.
Furthermore, with this out there it makes me more recognizable with the hardcore audience. With that in mind, while working last week, I was approached by a "fan" of the show who made a pilgrimage to the studio. She then remarked that I seemed familiar. She was sure she saw me in the background of season 5 since some of the crew were used during the fictional film set. Which kinda freaks me out a little. Pretty bizarre. But, this is pretty much as far as I will get at being famous I guess.
I also find it humorous that what brings me out of blog seclusion is the fact I'm in another blog. Now it is back to my hiding spot.
Later Days.
End Transmission.
